Its been my first month and a half away from home, fending for myself in the big wide world of Wales and its been great never realised how much i loved animation before coming on this course and my dream of working for Disney has resurfaced

highlights of the past 2 months include....

joining the pirate society (basically you get drunk on rum while going ARRRR! Alot and hit the floor when some one yells "SHARK ATTACK!")

being awoken by a fire alarm at 5:20am because some one in our row of flats burnt some toast. About 90 people live in a row and for 10 minutes, while we stood out in the cold in just our pj's, 89 of us had a collective hatred towards one single person... we know where they live

having a dog get into the university, we found him running around the animation corridor and after chasing after him i managed to half pick him up just as the reception blokes came along... it was one of those "this is exactly what it looks like" moments lol

being introduced to wonder bras (omgthankyoubry)

many many disney talks

me walking into the kitchen to find the room full of smoke and my flat mate madly fanning the smoke alarm which didnt go off...

Toga night at the SU bar

Having the pirate society all shout THIS IS SPARTA! WOO! WOO! WOO! over and over again as we left the flats for a night out.... we have it on film too xD

My friend converted their flats utilities cupboard into a sex cupboard, on a pirate night 6 of us were crammed in there having drunken chats after alot of morgans rum (40% alchyhol )

starbucks... its putting us through uni... so are kitkat chunkies....

seeing up oh how we welled up...

seeing some one stab a hill, in the dead of night, with a big stalk that once had aload of brussel sprouts growing from it while shouting "take that mother land wales!" didnt know whether to laugh or be a tiny bit insulted... haha

My.... admirer....

Well.....

Last friday me and a friend went to see coldplay live at Wembley arena and it was an amazing gig White lies opened, followed by Girls Aloud followed by Jay Z and after an hour break Coldplay came to the stage . When they sang yellow giant round yellow balloons filled with confetti were released onto the crowed i saw two people walk home with them halfway through the gig they left the stage to the sound of im singing in the rain. Everyone assumed it was because they were taking a break when all of a sudden the lights shone onto a smaller stage near the back of the arena and they came on stage to sing with simon pegg on the harmonica! XD
During the final song Lovers In Japan thousands of tissue paper butterflies were fired over the crowd the way they moved through the air made them look real it was amazing

The gig was amazing but getting home was a nightmare -.- they finished the encore at 11pm and as soon as they played the last note we ran from our seats to catch the tube but were met by 70 thousand people trying to get home at the same time >.< we had half an hour to catch the last train at this point. We managed to run and weave through the crowd until we couldnt anymore because there was so many of us. There were even police men on horses to keep things under control. As we got nearer to the station the whole crowd started to belt out the ooooo-oooooh oh, ooooo-ooooh oh part from viva la vida it was one of the most amazing things i've ever heard Another amazing moment was when we walk up a small set of steps and i find a perfect paper butterfly on the floor XD i snatched it up quick and shall treasure it .
We get through to the ticket barriers and things become hectic >.< the ticket people were yelling that if you had a ticket just go through the gate and if you had an oyster card to tap the pad. Tracks that shouldnt have been gated off were and then the workers were unsure what was going on, the tube people were no where near prepared... We get to the train to take us to the baker loo line and it leaves half full for some reason, then another train comes which everyone crams themselves into. By this time the underground is boiling and we're panting while my face is as bright as a tomato. We get to the station to wait for the tube to take us to Victoria where we have 19 minutes to get the last train and then we find out the tube will take ten minutes to get here. When it finally arrives we cant get on because no one will budge up so yet another tube leaves half full. The next train arrives a few moments later and we all crowd on. Wifey kindly steers me away from where some one has been ill before i see it and start having a panic attack as i have a massive vomit fear.... So, we're packed onto the tube like battery chickens, its boiling hot, theres a puddle of sick some where behind me and then the train stops in the middle of the underground for 10-20 minutes. I already want of the tube and after a while i'm about ready to burst into tears -.- wifey thinks im having a small panic attack which i was close to doing >.<....
Anyway, by the time we get to Victoria we've missed the last train home and have to get a train to swanley which i didnt realise existed til then lol. We get the train there, and wifeys dad kindly picks us up I got home at about 2am, i lost track of how long the car ride home was...

So thus the night that we went to see Coldplay live at Wembley will forever be known as tube-a-gedon xD lol. Have to say tho.... it was worth the shit we put up with getting home .

In other news im now in Newport South Wales studying animation the people are nice here and the area is gorgeous my flat mates are lovely and the people on my course seem nice and i seem to have already gotten over my home sickness althought i miss my darling ferret Charlie

Also... apparently this course is one of the top animation courses in the UK which makes me wonder how i got on it lol

Me and a friend have tickets to see Coldplay next month at Wembley Stadium!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've taken to randomly yelling AAAAAAAAAAAHCOLDPLAYAAAAAAAAAAAAH! and doing a happy dance

cant wait, i've been wanting to see this tour for more than a year so should be great the only thing is Girls Aloud is warming up the crowd, in the words of my cousin "aw poor them, they're like the sad clown that goes on before the magician xD" but me and wifey have plans to use their stage time as the moment to go get a hotdog, t-shirts and use the bathroom

also the concert just so happens to be the night before i move into the halls of residence at my uni...hehe woops

i turn twenty today! I have to say goodbye to my teenage years.... i refuse to give up watching cartoons and eating chocolately breakfast cereals tho

yesterday i woke up with a sore ear and a stiff jaw and after going to the DR today i've been told i have an ear infection just what i wanted for my birthday.... this means my plans of clubbing have been scuppered somewhat so instead I'm going to Canterbury for shopping and Wagamamma noodles

also after becoming obsessed with the TV show I bought the Dexter book its really good, i recommend it, its not for the faint of heart tho hehe
